Editor’s Letter: Sound Advice

If you’re going to ask for someone’s feedback, you better be ready to hear it and make use of it. That’s what we plan to do this year as we work to improve the scope and quality of our editorial content. One important source of inspiration we intend to tap into will be the Tactics Europe editorial advisory board.
As we take on the fourth volume of our bi-monthly magazine, we’ll rely on the advice of expert shopping centre marketers with wide-ranging skills and market experience.
With this edition, we are officially welcoming back three of our editorial board members: Sue Boor of PRUPIM, Sean Kelly of Halogen and João Peixoto of Multi Management Portugal. They are joined by two new advisors, Michelle Buxton and Aleksandra Wasilewska, who bring with them valuable experience acquired in Europe and overseas.
Michelle Buxton, the principal of Toolbox Marketing and a former shopping centre manager, has worked with clients across the UK, as well as in other European countries and in South Africa.
Aleksandra Wasilewska, a communications specialist at Apsys Polska, will bring her insight into the marketing of shopping centres in Central and Eastern Europe.
These advisors have already helped us fine tune our cover story features lineup for the year, so we can develop content that focuses on the most pressing marketing issues and is relevant to shopping centre professionals right across Europe.
We thank all of our editorial board members for their time, insight and ongoing support.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to ackowledge the early support we got from fomer editorial board members, including Melanie Beck (formerly of Jones Lang Lasalle), Tina Dallorzo (formerly of The Mall, Ilford), Karen Isman (Lordland Int’l) and David Smyth (Footfall).
