Jesseka Doherty Named MSCA President

The Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) chose Jesseka Doherty as its 30th President. The State VP of Leasing for Mid-America Real Estate officially took on the new post at the association’s annual STARR Awards ceremony last December.

Doherty, who has been a member of the MSCA for 15 years, will assume the role after holding several board and co-chair positions, as well as participating in several committees, including the Research Committee. She takes over from Rick Plessner.

MSCA is a non-profit trade association that was founded in 1988 and is the largest statewide organization devoted solely to the retail real estate industry.  With over 300 companies and 650 members, the association represents developers, shopping center owners, brokers, property managers, retailers, attorneys, architects, appraisers, contractors, and all professionals serving the Minnesota real estate industry.  MSCA offers its members excellent educational and networking opportunities, market research and trends, as well as participation in governmental affairs.
