MAPIC 2015 Explores the US Retail Landscape

MAPIC is just around the corner. The premiere event for the international retail property market takes place from 18-20 November at Palais des Festivals, Cannes, France.

More than 2,300 developers and shopping center owners will be showcasing their projects to thousands of retailers, but deal-making is just one piece of the annual event. The two-day conference program includes dozens of sessions for following the trends, exploring innovation and discovering international markets. Learn about ROI for shopping center loyalty programs, find out how to engage your customers with creative play, and explore the newest trends in retailtainment. This year’s Country of Honour is the United States. With the inclusion of companies like Vornado Realty Trust, Simon Property Group and Kimco, the U.S. presence at MAPIC has grown 30 percent this year. A dozen North American experts will speak throughout the conference program, and heavyweights of American industry will present their flagship projects in the USA Pavilion and USA Lounge.

The MAPIC Awards will be presented at a gala dinner during the event, highlighting the best retail concepts in several categories, the best pop-ups, the best new and refurbished shopping centers and more.
