ICSC’s MOCIAL+ Is Just Around the Corner

Mark your diaries because the ICSC MOCIAL+ conference is opening in a couple of weeks. With “Marketing, Advertising & Sponsorship in a Digital Age” as its tagline, the event will see retailers, shopping center developers and managers, tech innovators, and other professionals come together on August 10 at the Grand Hyatt hotel in San Francisco for three days of brainstorming and networking.

MOCIAL stands for Mobile+Social+Local. Conference presenters, group session leaders and delegates will explore all of these aspects of retailing in the 21st Century. After what ICSC promises to be a fact-filled tour of the Macy’s West Coast flagship store on opening day, participants will tackle a number of highly current topics, including creating unique in-store experiences, social media metrics, building shopper loyalty through differentiation, and linking physical with digital retailing. They’ll also have a chance to explore the true retail potential of tech ‘toys’ like drones and virtual reality systems.
